CORDILLERA DEL BALSAMO BAKHOOR

$22.00

“Cordillera de Balsamo” is one of my “Scent-Scape” incenses.  These are incense in which I try to create an olfactive image of a historical or present day place or event.  The mountains of El Salvador known as “la cordillera del Bálsamo” are one of the few places in the world where the resin of the Myroxylon balsamum tree is harvested.  The historical uses of Peruvian balsam date back to the early Mayan culture, when it was used as incense for ceremonial purposes. Rich in balsamic, vanilla and sweet aromas, with soft clove notes and woody, smoky, leathery and animalic nuances, here it is combined with Palo Santo wood and other local plants from the area.

Incense Notes :  Vanilla, Balsamic, Palo Santo

Ingredients:  A perfume made with extracts of Peruvian balsam resin, Tonka beans, pipe Tobacco and Vanilla.  Sealed in Palo Santo wood and with organic sugar and Rose water.
