Ingredients:  In house extractions of Frankincense resins (Boswellia sacra-black and white, Boswellia rivae, Boswellia neglecta, Boswellia serrata) and Benzoin resin.  Grapefruit, Cinnamon leaves, Atlas Cedar, Howood, Nutmeg.  In organic Jojoba oil at 40%.

Inspiration:

I will never forget the first time I really understood Frankincense resin.  It was during the beginning of my career making incense.  At the time, I was using exclusively local plants.  I was contacted by another incense maker, Katlyn Breene, who was to go on to become a close friend, to harvest Boreal plants for her own incense work.  Katlyn gifted me with an electric incense heater, and then to me unbeknownst, some of the highest quality frankincense resins in the world.

One afternoon, I was bottling tinctures for a market the next day, at the same time, I was working on a blend with the gifted frankincense.  Something was not going well that day and I was feeling stressed.  I put the frankincense blend on the incense heater right next to me to assess its aroma and continue working.  Within 15 minutes, I realized that the anxiety I had been feeling all day, slipped away between puffs of fragrant frankincense.

The calming aromatherapeutic effects of Frankincense is one of the reasons the resin has been used for thousand of years in spiritual practice.  Frankincense heals on all the levels.  It is an excellent anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial on the physical level.  On the emotional level, Frankincense soothes anxiety and balances emotions.  On the spiritual plane, Frankincense enhances spiritual communication and improves the ability to receive messages from the metaphysical background of the world.
