MOSS AND MUSK

The Lichens that grow on the trees, rocks and ground of the cool Boreal Forest, often seem to be scentless.  Only on very hot summer days do they reveal their mysterious and deep aromas.   In “Moss and Musk”, I combine Lichens with Agarwood and Castoreum, aromas that are untamed yet powerfully relaxing and calming. The scent-song is like you are laying face down in the understory of the forest with your nose pressed up against a thick tufts of moss and humus that are dark and earthy with mushrooms and vague green notes.  “Moss and Musk” is a fragrance that awakens something, deep within us, which can lead to great spiritual depth in meditation. This is a blend also useful for healing past traumas and connecting with the metaphysical background of the world.

Scent Shadow: A persistent scent shadow that is like a calm embrace that smells as if you have merged into the forest floor.  There are no green notes left, but what remains is an elegant dark soil, fungi and decomposing wood aroma

Ingredients: Tree Mosses, Agarwood, Castoreum tincture, Sweetgrass hydrosol, Forest Mystery.

14 very-thin, Japanese-style, handmade sticks, 10 cm (4 inches) long, 2.1 mm (.04 inches) diameter packed in a paper tube.
