Our shipping turnaround time depends upon the season. 

From May 1-November 1, we live off-grid in the forest with no civic address.  There is no mail delivery or pickup.  Therefore, we ship only once a week from May- November.  We are always happy to try to accommodate special requests for more rapid shipping if you have a special occasion.

From November 2- April 30, we live in town where shipping is easier.  From November 2 to April 30, we usually ship withing two business days of receiving your order.

Shipments in Quebec usually take 1-3 business days to arrive.

Canada-wide packages usually take-3-8 business days to arrive.

Shipments across the USA take 5-12 business days. (Usually on the quicker side).

We all periodically experience delays with the Postal Service and cannot guarantee delivery within the usual time frame. Unless notified otherwise, your order will leave our facility in a timely manner – usually the next business day, but we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.

For orders required by a certain date, your best option is to contact us for a price on expedited or priority service.

United States shipping:

We ship all our USA orders with Canada Post.  You can select your shipping method during checkout.  All North American customers will receive a tracking number with the notification that their package has shipped.

If you live in a non-secure area or apartment building, please consider shipping to your place of business or a friend/relative that would be available to accept your package. We want to ensure that your order arrives to you safely! Esprit de la Nature is not liable for stolen, mis-delivered or undelivered packages.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure we receive the correct shipping address. We cannot take responsibility for shipping to incorrect addresses and unless the package is returned to us we cannot offer a refund or reship.

International Shipping:

Shipments to countries outside North America are shipped with Canada Post.  You can select your shipping method during checkout.

Please be advised that all international orders may be subject to customs fees or duties upon arrival in your country. You are responsible for those fees issued by your government. We cannot alter customs documentation to a lower price or change the products.

International orders may not have updated tracking information once they leave Canada. While we may be able to assist you in finding a missing package, we are not liable for non-delivery or missing packages.

We do not ship to the following countries: North Korea and Russia.

On packages returned to us for any reason (non-delivery, failure to pickup package, customs non-payment, etc…) only the merchandise value will be refunded. There are no refunds issued for shipping on international orders.

 

Return and Refund Policy

If anything goes wrong, we will do everything in our power to try to correct the situation. With the exception of electric incense heaters, returns may be made within 14 days of the date of delivery for a complete refund of the purchase price less the cost of shipping.  We warranty electric incense heaters for a year.  All other products must be returned as “good as new” for a refund. The customer is responsible for any degradation to the quality, quantity and value of returned items. A refund in the form of store credit will be issued as soon as the items are received and evaluated, Usually within one business day of receiving them here.

If you live in Canada:  You must return the item(s) at your cost. Store credit will be issued to you via email once we receive the returned merchandise.

If you live outside Canada:

You will be issued your refund in the form of store credit when we receive the items via whichever shipping carrier you prefer.

International Duties & Customs Fees

ALL APPLICABLE CUSTOMS FEES, TAXES AND DUTIES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES REQUIRE THAT WE STATE THE VALUE OF THE ORDER DIRECTLY ON YOUR PACKAGE. IT IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF CUSTOMS AGENTS TO RELEASE YOUR PACKAGE.

If you refuse your shipment or are unable to retrieve your package, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties or taxes that are incurred, and the cost of returning the package to Esprit de la Nature. The amount will be deducted from your refund. In the instance that the return fee exceeds the amount of your order, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
