CARAVAN

Thousands of years ago, caravans crossed the Arabian desert laden with resins, herbs, spices and other goods.  This secret route through the shifting sands was known as the incense and silk road.  In hermetically sealed chests, spices, precious aromatic woods and resins bounced in the desert heat.  Patchouli leaves were used between fabrics to protect them from insects.    When the caravan stopped to relax, some chests were opened for cooking and pleasure, creating a fragrant cloud around the camp.  Caravan is an olfactory landscape from this era.  A blend of dark, exotic resins, powdered with precious woods then nestle in aged patchouli, leaves and spices.

Heat this incense on an electric incense heater at 150-160ºC. If you smell off notes, your burner temperature is set too high.
