DIVINE LOVE

“Divine Love” has the paradisiacal aroma of a divine garden filled with flowering plants coupled with hints of green leaves and fresh turned earth.  A perfume blended around the aphrodisiacal fragrances of Ylang-Ylang flowers and Patchouli leaves is infused into high quality, floral, white and fruity, dark Frankincense resins.  The result is an aroma that evokes feelings of physical and spiritual love.  “Divine Love” is made in the “Monastery Style” of incense making by infusing resin tears with a blend of essential oils and letting them dry.  Monastery Style blends are very long lasting on the heater.

Incense Notes:  Floral, Resins, Earthy

Ingredients:  White Hojari Frankincense, Dark Sacra Frankincense, Ylang-Ylang essential oil, dark Patchouli essential oil, flower petals from the garden

Heat this incense on an electric incense heater at 180º

Inspiration:

I created “Divine Love” at the request of a client who that wanted a fragrance that she could use to both during meditation and while making love in order that she could better bring the two together via scent memory.  We chose frankincense as a base resin because it is renown for creating a calm and tranquil mood conducive for spiritual awakening.  Next, we settled on Ylang-Ylang as an aroma that has a long history of producing a euphoric aphrodisiacal state.  In places where Ylang-Ylang grows. the flowers have historically been spread on a couple’s bed for their wedding night.  The we selected Patchouli oil as a bridge between Frankincense and Ylang-Ylang since its grounding and calming properties helping the spiritual self drop into the physical body.
